Campion Drama Reflection - 25/09/2020

 Campion Drama Reflection

- 25/09/2020

Today we got our roles, I got The MC! I have lots of lines to remember so I'll probably practise in the holidays. It seems The MC is the only sane person at the wedding and I love it!

Today we practised the entire play 4 times, and it was well performed. I think the person that play Kylie still needs a lot of practise because she said so many of her lines wrong. During the holidays me and a friend are going to meet up and practise our lines together.

Campion Play - Innovation

Campion Play - 18/09/2020

Innovative Ideas

What can we do to make our play better? We could make our own costumes or modify clothes we already have to use for costumes, add a fight scene, change lines to customise the play to our needs or use a few lines for the audience. We could have a interesting introduction, film the play, make props, have a curtain or try to put the play on at different schools. We could have fancy tickets or have coloured bands to show you are able to attempt.

Resources

We would need lamps for lighting, costumes for make it higher quality, a stage to perform on and a script to for the actual play. Human resources: actors to perform the play, directors to make small improvements and correct people when their wrong , makeup artist to add more quality to the play, costume designers for paying closer attention to detail.

Cost and budgeting

To save money we could make our own recycled clothes to not have to spent money on that. We could host a few fundraisers and look for a sponsor to get money. All our workers are volunteers so we don't need to pay anyone like people for lighting, stage hens and make-up artists. We need money for snacks, to get our posters and tickets printed. We might need to credit the writers so they don't get angry.

Business Name

Happily ever laughter, Drama club, Drama peeps or break a leg. We decided on Happily ever laughter but I don't think it was a fair vote because there was a girl constantly telling people to vote for Happily ever laughter.

Target audience

Parents and students that are going to the open day.

Quality Product

practise lots of times and have lots of flawless playthroughs

The BFG

The BFG

The BFG is a curious character with outstanding qualities that no human can posses.
He is a sweet guy that is passionate about his hobbies. He intended no harm to sophie and was nothing like the other giants. Roald dahl is teaching us that the ones who are different are the brightest lights.

Chernobyl 1986

The Chernobyl disaster was a reactor that exploded and let deadly amounts of radiation into the air.

3 fun facts about Chernobyl:
1. Sweden was first to alert the nearby cities to evacuate.
2. Now 33 years after, the radiation is still deadly.
3. Nobody lives in Chernobyl

Do you have cool facts about Chernobyl?
Leave a comment if you do!

My small inquiry

I did a one week inquiry and found out about the Taiaroa shipwreck.

Taiaroa Shipwreck 1886
The Taiaroa grounded near the Clarence River. 4 lifeboats were launched but only one made it to the shore, the others collapsed into the water and their passengers drowned due to the icy water and enormous waves.  The survivors were so shaken by the accident most of them never set foot on a boat again. There were 42 burials of the drowned people, their families grieved over their graves. Most survivors were ashamed because they had failed to save all those lives.

If the disaster happened today you would have a better life vest to help support your weight and the lifeboats wouldn’t collapse into the water because they are designed not to. We have technology that helps with heart attacks and pouches to keep you from freezing to death.

Little Poland

Polish refugees land in New Zealand

When they were welcomed into New Zealand they were given sweets and flowers but they didn't understand what they said to them. They were brought to a town called Pahiatua. New zealand wasn't the only country to exept the poles who were in slave cames in Iran and Iraq.
