Reflection
This year has only just started and I can already tell it's going to be a long one.
I have a class called 'Make a Difference', where I made a website that I am fairly happy with. It displays all work I have done and shows the progress I have made during class time so far. This is where you can take a look: Make a Difference - My Site.
I have another class called 'Amazing Spaces' , where I create original ideas for houses and spaces for the NZ housing crisis. It gives me practice for what I would like to do in the future and gives me time to work on graphics, which I really enjoy.
This is the planning I did for making my tiny house floor plan.
I have a class called 'Shake it up with Shakespeare' where we study Shakespeare's plays and reflect upon them. I made a video where I explained the top 5 of Shakespeare's plays and a little bit about his life. This video turned out pretty good and I'm proud of it. If you would like to watch it, it is called 'Facts about Shakespeare' on Youtube.
In Numeracy I'm working above level so I still challenge myself. Mr Lockwood gave me a book of exercises from the NCEA standard in England. This helps me extend my knowledge and keeps my brain working with harder questions than i'm used to.
In Literacy I have been improving my writing and challenging myself by using more advanced words. Like in the 'Alphabet Challenge' I wrote a story i'm very proud of. It is a story about a young woman who is sick of the same routine of going to work, so she calls in sick and spends the day walking around in rainy London.
For my Impact Project, I am doing the Drama Production. Drama gives me room to express my emotions and relax. I enjoy my character though I wish I had a little more lines. Mr Sparks obviously is very good at his job and I know he will produce an amazing show.
